高野侯（1878—1952）现代画家、鉴赏家。字时显，号欣木、可庵，浙江杭县（今余杭）人。清末举人。
精鉴定，富收藏，以古今名人梅花作品为多，有“五百本画梅精舍”之称。善画梅花，工篆刻。镇库之宝有王冕《梅花图》卷，因名其斋曰“梅王阁”。印中有“画到梅花不让人”一语自负其艺。从事美术出版甚力，1913年任中华书局董事、美术部主任。陆续出版名人书画影印本多达百数十种。主编西泠印社《金石家书画集》十八册。传世作品有《墨梅图》轴，图录于《当代名人画海》。
清光绪二十九年（一九○三）癸卯举人，曾官内阁中书。辛亥革命後，於一九一三年参加中华书局筹创工作，任常务董事兼美术部主任。一九一七年，中华书局在经营上一度艰辛异常，野侯出资出力，与诸同仁携手合作，得以渡过难关。辑校《四部备要》、影印《古今图书集成》等重要典籍，均主持其事。中华书局所影印之书画名迹，皆出其审阅监定。工诗文，诗宗杜少陵，得雄浑奔放之致。擅书画篆刻，书以八分为时所誉；画梅尤称独步，红梅绿萼，妍雅绝伦，曾以『画到梅花不让人』一语自负其艺。搜藏前人所画梅花五百余轴，俱一时上选，因颜其居曰『五百本画梅精舍』。诸品中以王元章所作梅花长卷最为珍贵，故又名其斋为『梅王阁』，而自署别号曰『梅王阁主』。复有《集杜咏梅》之辑。
篆刻上追秦汉，下逮宋元，於西泠印派致力较多，尤於陈豫锺有深契，秀雅可爱，不愧佳手，其印非至交不能得，故流传甚稀。野侯於明清印派流变特点，深具卓见，尝见为张鲁盫所藏《吴让之印存》跋尾云：『篆印以浑穆流丽为上，刻印以古茂圆转为工，浙欤徽欤胥是道欤龙泓承雪渔支离之极，致力秦汉，以古雅出之。完白承穆倩破碎之极，致力斯冰，以雄浑出之。各有所因，各有所创，初无所用其轩轾也。撝叔谓巧人拙人，似矣，而未能索其源而观其通也。浙宗至次闲而蔽生矣；徽宗至让之而蔽亦生矣。然次闲、让之，亦各有所持，卓然名家而未可漫致訾议焉，让之刻印，使刀如笔，转折处、接绩处，善用锋颖，靡见其工，运笔作篆，圆劲有气，诚得完白之致。而完白之雄浑，固望尘莫及矣。盖完白使刀运笔，正求中锋，而让之均以偏胜，末流之蔽，遂为荒伧，势所必至也。吾固谓让之名家而已，非若完白之可跻大家之列也。撝叔能知徽浙之蔽，而工力深至，几几不欲平视让之，吾谓让之当效永叔之於东坡可也。而让之固以偏胜，且欲凌视撝叔。噫，虚怀求道之不易也。』对丁龙泓、邓完白、吴让之、赵撝叔四家之印艺特色，真能洞察精窍，颇见印学之造微。
为西泠印社早期社员。兼长中医学，人所罕知，杭州有患水胀者，病危殆，延为诊疗投药，旋即霍然而愈。野侯逝世後，其六弟络园辑其遗刻为《方寸铁斋印存》，从弟仁偶撰序，韩登安书石，正钤拓开始，十年动乱忽至，事遂中辍，印石随亦星散矣。
