周璕(1649-1729)，字昆来，上元(今南京)人。按读画辑略作"河南嵩山人，后入江宁籍"，历代画史汇传引画徵录作"号嵩山"，考画徵录无此三字。工人物、花卉、龙马，其画龙烘染至百规。雍正七年（一七二九）与同志张天来等，准备在长江流域策划巨大之农民起义。为监生于汇泄露，遭官府迫害，卒年八十一。有铁骝图、墨龙图，现藏南京博物院。《国［清］朝画徽录、清画家诗史、读画辑略、榆园画志》。
