Renyu (1853 - 1901), a Henan native of Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province, Ren Xiongzi. He is good at painting landscapes, figures, flowers and birds. Among the four "appointments" of Ren Xiong (1823-1857), Ren Zhu, Ren Xun (1835-1893) and Ren Yi (1840-1895), Ren is the youngest. Since he was only four years old when his father, Ren Xiong, died, he had no chance to be directly influenced by his father in painting style.
Less is lazy and unwilling to learn painting. Bears think they hate it. As for Xiong Ji, the manuscripts are all Nitian's earnings. He refuses to learn even if he turns to another family to borrow them. His paintings show the dust with genius, just as Wang Xie's son, though protracted, has a kind of fun. Initially there was no inheritance of pen and ink, and Ren's sect was changed to the fullest extent. Its landscape with characters, trees and rocks, location and appearance, especially with the new. Flowers can be used for the Song Dynasty, and their roots and leaves are strange. Painting women are beautiful and natural, nothing is gorgeous, only light makeup on each other. Xukou Zhang's family was invited to his home for a long scroll of paintings, which was completed over the years. Nevertheless, laziness and illness remain unchanged, neither extreme poverty nor embarrassment can be painted, nor can the whole picture be intact, neither attainment nor attainment lead to enlightenment. The winner is referred to as a singularity. He was instructed by Zhao Zhiqian and was good at engraving. The year of death was forty-nine.
"Twelve Zodiac Pictures" - Rabbit, Qing Dynasty, Ren Pre-painted, paper, color, 32 cm vertical and 38 cm horizontal.
Zhu Wenfang's seal of "Li Fan" in the lower right corner of the painting heart.
The picture is composed of three rabbits and bamboo leaves in the lower left corner of the picture. A bright moon hangs high in the upper right corner of the picture. The incomplete composition of the moon has a modern artistic style. The model of the white rabbit is accurate, and the traditional halo dyeing technique is used to express the three-dimensional sense of the white rabbit vividly. The red eyes of the rabbit play an active role. Bamboo leaves are filled with ink lines. Round lines contrast with the blurred lines of moon and rabbit. The green color of bamboo leaves enriches the tone of the whole picture and adds fresh vitality to the picture.
