戴表元《剡源文集》卷四《蕺隐记》谓其是进士之后，累世轻轩裳而重名节，薄田园而厚文墨，以山人处士自居，徜佯于青山绿水间，以书画自娱。

 因隐居其深，隔绝尘世而不为世人所知，故作品流传甚少，亦无人造其赝品。传世作品有《凌波图》卷，纸本，墨笔，原为一长卷，中有断缺，呈两段，纵31。4厘米，前段横80。2厘米，后段横146厘米。

所绘水仙布局繁密，繁而不乱，花叶穿插、伸展、俯仰自如，层次分明，恣态生动，淡墨渲染，恬淡雅逸，画风与南宋赵孟坚相近，现藏故宫博物院。

另有《水仙图》卷藏于日本，著录于美国高居翰先生《中国古画索引》。 元 王迪简 水仙图残卷（纸本）39X415故宫博物院藏.。

 Wang Dijian [Yuan] Ziting Ji, named Jiyin, a native of Xinchang (now Xinchang, Zhejiang Province), and a survivor of the Southern Song Dynasty (late 13th century A.D.), whose birth and death date is unknown. He is a good painter of Narcissus and landscape. "Seeing and Hearing from Yue Painting" and "A Treasure Book of Pictures"

Dai Bieyuan's Collection of Raoyuan Literature Volume IV "Jiyin Ji" said that he was a scholar, who had been light and famous for many years. He was thin and pastoral and thick in writing and ink. He lived as a mountain scholar, wandered among the green mountains and waters, and amused himself with calligraphy and painting.

Because of its deep seclusion, isolation from the world and not known to the world, the works are seldom circulated and no fake products are manufactured. The handed down works include Lingbotu Volume, Paper Book and Ink Pen, which was originally a long volume with two missing sections, vertical 31. Four centimeters, front 80. 2 cm, posterior transverse 146 cm.

The painted Narcissus has a dense layout, complex but not disorderly. The flowers and leaves are interlaced, stretched and pitched freely. It has distinct layers, vivid, light ink rendering, tranquil and elegant. Its painting style is similar to Zhao Mengjian of Southern Song Dynasty. Now it is the Palace Museum of Tibet.
