王广明，字太一，号化石楼主，1942年4月5日生，江苏徐州人，著名中国画家、史论家、国家一级美术师、教授，中国美术家协会会员、中国工艺美术家协会会员、中国扇子艺术学会顾问，中国国际问题研究基金会艺术顾问、人民艺术家协会理事、人民艺术书画院执行院长、新东方书画研究院院长。
王广明自幼爱画，深得著名国画世家其舅老爷阎秋华先生亲授，掌握了中国画工笔、写意绘画的传统技法和变革基础。继得著名油画家李士延、江小芋教授指导，立志油画事业；后南学陈之佛，得喻继高先生身传，北学于非闇，得俞致贞先生指导，又深入研究美术史论，探索历代各家派之精微，深入现实生活，加强写生和技法的探索，形成了“东西为用南北一体”的实践和创作思想。提出并论证了“图腾——一切文学艺术的源头”，得到了王朝闻、潘絜兹等著名文艺理论大师的首肯以及著名理论家李泽厚等先生的支持。
他独辟蹊径，其艺术思想、艺术语言、艺术风格自成一体。其作品既有富贵典雅一派的特色，又有野逸一派的表现，还有“超写实”以及“现代前卫派”的融合，用工笔花鸟画的形式，艺术地直接表现现实生活和军事题材等，赋作品以深邃的思想内涵。他还创造了朦胧画派的风格，更将没骨工笔花鸟画推进到新的、成熟的高度。在理论研究和艺术实践中，创造了三十四种新的绘画技法。并有多种发明专利，获得国家批准的专利技术用在作品中，既保留着一般绘画的效果，又可产生特别的幻化神采。其作品四百余幅在国内外大展（包括中国美术家协会定期大展）中展出并多次获金奖、一等奖，特别金奖。被授于“德艺双馨”、“当代著名画家”、“终身成就奖”等荣誉。其作品与传略被几百家大型画集、名录、典籍收录，作品深受国内外名家和广大群众喜爱，海内外流传、收藏甚广，国家机关、国内外党政要人也多有收藏。
中央电视台、香港无线电视台、人民日报（海外版）、中通社、中新社、中国文化报、文艺报、商报、大公报、《美术》、《美术向导》、《中国画》、《香港画报》、《艺术百家》、《迎春花》、《山东文学》、《华人世界》、《世界华人精英》等诸多媒体多次进行过专题报道、评论、发表作品。人民美术出版社、中国展望出版社、中国戏剧出版社、江苏美术出版社、安徽美术出版社、黑龙江美术出版社等出版社多次出版其作品，并出版有《王广明工笔花鸟画集》，《王广明工笔花鸟画95》、《王广明工笔花鸟·没骨部分》，《王广明艺文论集》、《“东西为用南北一体简论”》等。主编出版《彭城画派丛书》、《徐州已故著名书画家作品集》、《彭城画派丛书·第一分集》等。
1990年、1992年、1993年中国工艺美术馆、香港展览中心、深圳美术馆分别邀请并主办了《王广明工笔花鸟画展》、《王广明国画展》。1995年、1996年、2010年多次参与组织、主办过次全国性美术大展、美术活动。
2008年5月为汶川大地震灾民捐献作品，并被北京晚报刊登。
2008年8月应伊朗驻华大使馆特邀，王广明先生创作了《雄风》、《至尊》等作品，被大使馆赠送给伊朗伊斯兰共和国总统艾哈迈德·内贾德、副总统阿里·阿巴迪以及伊朗伊斯兰共和国奥委会主席哥拉汗路博士、伊朗伊斯兰共和国国家体育局副局长萨吾尔博士、中华人民共和国国家体育局、中华人民共和国国家文化部、中华人民共和国国家能源局、伊朗伊斯兰共和国驻华大使馆文化参赞阿高杰利博士、及被伊朗伊斯兰共和国驻华大使馆大使贾瓦德·曼苏里博士收藏。伊朗伊斯兰共和国副总统阿里·阿巴迪会见王广明先生，并高度赞扬他的作品、热情合影留念。
2009年应人民大会堂领邀导请为其金色大厅创作巨幅没骨工笔画《百鸟朝凤》。
2009年为玉树地震灾民捐献和组织捐献作品，并举办作品展览。
