王大光，汉族，广东省广州市人，1939年1月出生。天津电视台美术设计，国家一级美术设计。中国舞美学会理事，天津舞美协会副会长。1961年毕业于上海戏剧学院舞台美术系。毕业后除主攻影视美术设计之外，漫画创作为其最大爱好。代表作《空缺》获首届漫画“金猴奖”，作品多次参加全国及国外漫画展览。漫画理论方面亦常涉足，漫画赏析及评论文章散见于《中国漫画》、《讽刺与幽默》等刊物。此外，还曾担任电视连续剧《弘一大师》、《梅兰芳》、《离别广岛的日子》等美术设计。
