夏长馨(1912.6—1988.8)琢玉艺术家。别名兰奇。河北武清县人。
父亲夏永元，也是玉器艺人。十三岁在北京“玉成祥”玉器店当学徒，1919年开始自学玉器器皿造型艺术，曾随柜上画活匠师李耀及惠崔、荣甫等学艺。一九五六年被评为老艺人，一九五七年被聘为北京工艺美术研究所研究员。几十年实践经验，使他熟悉各种玉料性能，积累丰富的设计知识。擅长平素产品的花纹设计，每件产品有创新变革，尤其在龙、凤、夔、花卉图案，开光画面、怪兽造型和人物景致等方面，表现突出，自成一派。他的产品具有丰满，新颖、雄厚的气魄，颇得各方好评。代表作品有《东方巨龙白玉花熏》、《白玉花篮》、《碧玉灯》、《金银错墨玉酒具》、《嵌宝石白玉盘》和《青金鲤鱼瓶》等。有些作品已被国家收藏。为我国玉器平素工艺的发展提高，做出了积极的贡献。在一九七九年召开的全国工艺美术艺人、创作设计人员代表大会上，被授予工艺美术家称号。一九八六年被北京市命名为特级工艺美术大师。
