张安治画作

江苏扬州人。擅国画。中央美术学院。1928年考入中央大学教育学院艺术科。1929年入西画班学习，主要老师有徐悲鸿、潘玉良、蔡任达等先生。1931年毕业于南京中央大学艺术科，曾任中央大学助教，重庆中国美术学院副研究员。1946年赴英国伦敦大学科塔艺术研究院研修。曾任教於南京中央大学美术系、重庆中国美术学院、北京师范大学、北京艺术师范学院美术系、中央美术学院国画系和美术史系，并担任博士生导师。

1982年应纽约大学市立学院之聘，成为改革开放后第一位赴美讲授艺术的教授，并应邀在哥伦比亚大学、
伯克莱大学、斯坦福大学、南加州大学、帕森斯美术设计学院等校举办讲座。作品有《九松图》等。出版有《张择端清明上河图》、《郭熙》，论文《中国画与画论》等。
张安治早年以油画、粉画、水彩创作为主，后多作国画山水、书法、国画作品多题有自撰诗词。
从二十世纪四十年代起先后在桂林、重庆、贵阳、成都、英国伦敦、剑桥、谢菲尔德、爱尔兰贝尔法斯特、
北京、美国纽约、南京、广州等地举办个人作品展。
著述有《中国画论纵横谈》、《中国画发展史纲要》、《吕凤子》、《张择端“清明上河图”研究》、《论中国文人画》、《张安治美术文集》和诗词集《漓江吟》等数百万字及《张安治画集》行世。
生前曾为北京市文联理事、中国美术家协会会员、美术史学会常务理事、中国书法家协会会员、全国政协文化委员会委员等。
1931年中大毕业，毕业创作《渔翁》曾参加南京市展览。
1932年两幅素描人像被徐悲鸿选入《画范》。
1934年兼任私立南京美专素描课教师，受徐悲鸿之约，加入中国文艺社的成立大会。
1935年应徐悲鸿之邀，返中央大学艺术系任助教，并与吕斯百等带学生赴庐山、杭州写生。
1936年随徐悲鸿、张大千赴黄山写生。
作油画《黄山云海》、《清凉台》、《轻云出谷》等，并作大幅油画《群力》参加南京中国美术会第一次全国年展，此画刊於《良友》画报（此画在1946年赴英进修前，交当时的中国美术学院收藏），同年应徐悲鸿之召至桂林，
协助筹办桂林美术学院。
1937年创作油画《后弈射日》参加第二届全国美展，并刊於《美术生活》（此画在1943年贵阳展出时被防空学院购藏）。
1938至1944年，撰写美术文论20余篇，并创作中国画《避难群》等。
1945年由徐悲鸿提名，被中国美术学院派往英国研究、考察。
1950年返程至北京，被分配到政务院（后改称国务院）典礼局任美术设计师。
1953年调任北京师范大学美术系副教授，兼任绘画教研室及理论教研室主任。
1956年调任北京艺术学院美术系副主任。
1957年举办“张安治、吴冠中江南写生画展”。
1964年在中国美术馆举办“张安治、陈大羽、宋文治、白雪石井冈山写生画展”，部分作品被美术馆购藏。
1976年借调至中央美术学院美术史系。
1983年撰写《一代画师——忆吾师徐悲鸿》，并应美国各大学之邀讲学，举办“张安治书画展”。
1987年举办“张安治教学六十年纪念展”。
1989年举办“张安治书画展”，部分作品被广州美术馆收藏。
