娄师白（1918—2010），1918年6月生于北京。
14岁师从国画大师齐白石先生学艺，在齐白石先生身边长达25年。
1942年毕业于北京辅仁大学美术系，历任北平京华美术学院讲师、中国书画函授大学教授、北京中国画研究会副会长、北京市人民对外友好协会理事、中央文史研究馆书画院院部委员、北京辅仁大学校友会美术研究会会长、北京师白艺术研究会总顾问、中国美术家协会会员、北京画院国家一级美术师，是北京市第六、七届政协委员，高级专家特殊待遇、政府特殊津贴享受者。
娄师白是齐白石的入室弟子，14岁就在齐白石先生家中学习诗、书、画、篆刻，直至白石先生逝世，长达25年之久。
娄师白先生作品有齐白石风格，为“齐派”重要传人，善画花鸟瓜果，作品曾参加全国历界美展，曾应邀赴新加坡、美国等国家美术院校讲学。
娄师白得其言传身教，全面继承齐白石艺术技法特色，并有所创新。
其作品色彩鲜而不艳、雅而不俗，给人以丰富多彩、生机勃勃之感。
其诗、书、画、篆刻作品多次在国内外报刊发表，多次参加国内外展览会，博得好评。
作品被人民大会堂、国宾馆、国家驻美、驻英大使馆及博物馆收藏。并拍有数部反映其生活与创作的电影片。长于写意花鸟画。
娄师白先生长期致力于齐白石艺术的研究及技法传授。
作品有《蓖麻丰收》、《鸭场》、《八哥百合》等。《南国花木》等藏于中国美术馆。
出版有《娄师白画辑》、《画鸭》、《怎样治印》、《齐白石绘画艺术》、《齐白石绘画技法》等专集、专著。
娄师白的代表作有《春暖人间》、《雏鸭》、《漓江帆影》、《长白积雪》等。著有《齐白石绘画艺术》、《娄师白画辑》、《画鸭》、《娄师白印章手拓
本》等。
2010年12月13日清晨，娄师白先生因病在北京逝世，享年92岁。

他不仅是一位享誉国内外的画家，同时在绘画理论上也有所建树。除在刊物上发表过许多文章外，还出版有《怎样制印》、《画鸭》、《齐白石画虾》、《齐白石绘画艺术》以及《娄师白画辑》、《娄师白画集》、《娄师白印谱》等著作。其中《齐白石绘画艺术》一书比较详细而系统地介绍了白石先生的绘画技法和创作思想，这在国内还是前所未有的。
国内他曾应邀到中央美术学院，中央工艺美院，中央民族学院，广州美术学院，湖南师范学院，厦门大学，厦门工艺美术学院。其他美术团体等地讲学。国外美国欧克兰工艺美术学院讲学并开画展，马里兰工艺学院讲学，圣地亚哥大学，旧金山州立大学讲学，中国画廊（美国旧金山湾区）加州尤瑞卡红松林大学天下画廊，旧金山湾区南海画廊讲学并开画展，新加坡举办《娄师白国画观摩展》。加拿大维多利亚市美术馆举办娄师白画展，维多利亚A&A画展，多伦多国际艺苑画廊举办画展并讲学，对弘扬祖国绘画艺术作出了积极的贡献。

Lou Shibai (1918 - 2010), was born in Beijing in June 1918.
