中国画学研究会:中国画学研究会于1920年5月成立，由金城、周肇祥、贺良朴、陈师曾、陈汉第、萧愻、徐宗浩、徐燕荪、吴镜汀、陶瑢等二十余人发起，得前大总统徐世昌支持，批准将日本退还庚子赔款的一部份用于开办中国画学研究会

画会以"精研古法、博采新知"为宗旨，提倡学习宋元及南北各家，不专宗四王，反对革新派的革新。名誉会长为周肇祥、会长为金城、副会长为陈年、徐宗浩，聘请陈汉第、胡佩衡、溥雪斋、溥心畲、张大千、黄宾虹、萧俊贤等人为评议，进行对传统绘画研究的教学活动，除每月逢三、六、九日开会观摩，主要是组织画家参加中日绘画联合展览。中国画学研究会自成立初期约三十余人，一直持续了二十多年，会员最多时曾达五百余人，共举办十九次会展。
