Anders Zuoen (February 18, 1860 - August 22, 1920) is one of the most important artists in Sweden. Painter, sculptor. His representative works include Midnight (1891) and Waterfront.

He joined the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm in 1875. After graduation in 1881, he traveled to England, Spain, Italy, France and the Balkans to paint. During his stay in Paris and London, he was inspired by Impressionist paintings and began to study the relationship between light and color.
