阚凤岗，天津人。擅长展览编辑、美术评论。1951年毕业于东北鲁迅文艺学院美术部。曾在东北文联美术工作委员会、中国美术家协会展览部，人民美术出版社总编办公室工作。历任中国美术家协会书记处书记，中国美术家协会第四届常务理事。曾赴莫斯科担任《社会主义国家造型艺术展览》中国馆总体设计。在《美术》等报刊发表《新时期·新起点·新格局》、《中国人来了》等文章。
