1965年就读于南通市工艺美术学校。
1969年参加中国人民解放军，在北京军区战友文工团从事舞台美术设计。
1979年转业到人民美术出版社工作，现任图片编辑室副主任。
擅长绘画、摄影。
1988年曾举办个人美术摄影作品展览。
宣传画《大家动手，植树栽花，美化环境》，获1983年全国宣传画展览二等奖；年画《期望》获第三届全国年画评奖三等奖。
