生于北京，祖籍山东。北京画院专业画家、国家一级美术师、中国美术家协会会员、中国国际书画研究会理事、文化部青联美术工作委员会委员、中国民族书画院艺委会委员、北京美协中国画艺委会委员。
1991年作品《霜林闲门寒欲坠》获中国“四季美展”铜奖，作品由日本安部牡丹园中国美术馆收藏；
2004年作品《寒林日暮归鸟啼》获全国中国画金奖、《雅园系列·深秋》获“首届全国电视中国画大赛”写意花鸟画金奖、《春林日暮倦鸟啼》获第十届全国美展铜奖；
2008年作品《故园深处》参加第三届北京国际双年展。
2005年作品《青竹》中国美术家协会宁波美术馆收藏、参与创作《神州颂》长卷，随神州六号飞船，进入太空；
2004—2006年应邀参加“现代中国美术展”韩国、日本巡展；
2007年作品《春林日暮倦鸟啼》浙江美术馆收藏。
