龚文桢，北京市人，1945年生，1965年毕业于北京工艺美术学校。多次为国家领导人创作大型陈设画及国家礼品画。现为中国画研究院专业画家、中国美术家协会会员、中国美协北京分会会员、工笔重彩画会会员，花鸟画研究会会员，当代工笔画学会会员。
1965年至1979年从事工艺美术设计工作，1979年考入中央美术学院国画系花鸟班录取为研究生，师从田世光、李若禅先生。1981年毕业。1982——1987年在中央工艺美术学校任教，1987年10月调入中国画研究院工作。擅长于工笔花鸟画，作品曾多次参加国内外展出。多次为国家领导人创作大型陈设画及国家礼品画。现为中国画研究院专业画家、中国美术家协会会员、中国美协北京分会会员、工笔重彩画会会员，花鸟画研究会会员，当代工笔画学会会员。
