贾大年，字永年，号贝希、石泉轩、葵苑主。生于北京，毕业于北京电影学院舞台美术系，曾任报社，电视台美术编辑，记者。现任中国书画家联谊会创作部主任，中国美术家协会会员，中国舞台美术学会会员，中国地区开发促进会美术总监，国际(韩国)文化交流院评审委员长。九洲书画院副秘书长。

1977年起从事专业绘画，开始主攻葵花，形成独特风格。他致力于创作写意花鸟和工笔草虫画，尤其擅长表现葵花的朴实无华，在色彩的运用上，融入中西方艺术的特点，大胆创新，其代表作品有“田园交响曲”“静思蝉声”。许多作品曾参加大型展览，在报刊，杂志上发表，并多次获奖.

2004年四幅作品参加中国美术家协会中国画家四国巡回展览，

2005年为《神州颂》国画长卷搭载“神州六号飞船”创作作品《葵花颂》，同年该作品被中国国家博物馆收藏。

2008年1月11日至14日，参加由中国文联、中国美协主办，新疆美协、兵团美协协办，中国美协新疆创作中心承办的“送欢乐、下基层”赴新疆慰问活动

2010年1月9日贾大年《葵》主题画展在广州在二沙岛岭南会开幕。

他致力于创作写意花鸟和工笔草虫画，尤其擅长表现葵花的朴实无华。在色彩的运用上融入中西方艺术的特点，大胆创新，并形成独特风格。他虽把视野拓展到西方艺术，但也没有把自己的根从民族美术和民族文化的土壤中拔走，他的画仍然是中国画。是深厚的中国文化，开放的时代和探索不怠的自己共同造就了画家贾大年，他属于民族，属于时代，也属于他自己。

他的作品《田园交响曲》被中华世纪坛收藏；作品《奥运精神》被世界第21届大学生运动会收藏；作品《天趣》被载入中国近代书画选集；作品《向日葵》被第七届全国少数民族传统体育运动会展览并收藏。作品《花魂》参加第二届中国北京国际双年展；作品《秋实之一，之二》载入由人民美术出版社发行的《中国画优秀作品选》花鸟篇；作品《冬天的记忆》参加第六届全国工笔画大展，并获优秀奖；作品《永恒的主题》被西班牙王宫博物馆收藏。近年来他随中国书画家代表团出访二十余个国家。
