吕品田

 吕品田,1959年3月19日生于江西上饶,祖籍江西丰城。1975年于江西上饶市第四中学参加工作,任美术教师;1982年毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院美术系设计专业,获文学学士学位;1982年至1985年任轻工业部工艺美术总公司生产一处干部,从事全国美术陶瓷生产管理;1985年考入中国艺术研究院研究生部,师从著名美学家、文艺理论家王朝闻先生研习美术理论,1988年毕业获文学硕士学位并留院从事美术理论研究;1990年至1995年曾任《美术史论》季刊执编、编委和副主编;1995年至1996年曾任《美术观察》月刊〈美术家〉栏目主持人。现任中国艺术研究院副院长,中国工艺美术馆馆长。

中国艺术研究院美术研究所研究员、《美术观察》主编、国家非物质文化遗产委员会委员、中国美术家协会理论委员会委员、中国工艺美术学会常务理事。

主要研究

 长期从事美术理论研究和美术批评,尤其重视民间美术与工艺美术的基础理论研究。先后参与《中国美术史》、《中国大百科全书·美术卷》、《中国民间美术史》、《中国民间艺术》、《中国民间美术全集》等大型国家重点科研或出版项目的编撰;出版专著《中国民间美术观念》(江苏美术出版社出版)、《中国民间美术全集·玩具卷》和《中国民间美术全集·社火卷》(山东教育出版社和友谊书社出版)、《中外陶瓷纹样》(轻工业出版社出版)、《中国传统工艺》(北京京华出版社出版)、《新生代艺术:漫游的存在》(吉林美术出版社出版)、《现代构形艺术――新手工艺术与中国当代创作》(江西美术出版社出版)、《东方美术》(广西美术出版社出版)等。论文主要有《中国现代工艺美术发展历程概观》、《中国现代工艺美术思想的发端》、《民间美术的二级符号》、《中国民间美术的美学特性及现代文化意义》、《中国民间美术观念内涵剖析》、《中国民间美术的观念与形象构成》、《新手工艺术论――兼论中国当代新手工艺术创作》、《中国现代陶艺创作批评》、《陶艺特质论》、《中国设计艺术:面临选择的困惑》、《英雄主义――一种主流风格的消散》、《装饰与设计:必要的张力》、《“手”与手工文化建设》、《衰落与蜕变――百年中国民间美术态势思考》等。长期坚持美术创作和艺术设计,参加过各种形式的美术作品展览,创作发表《军民并肩送瘟神》、《晨》、《田野》、《萌芽》、惭潮流》、《西域怀古》、《无题》等绘画和陶艺作品;为《中国当代美术系列》和《清代皇帝御批》丛书等大量书籍作装帧设计。

荣誉成就

专著曾获1993年度中宣部“五个一工程入选作品”奖、中国艺术研究院学术成果特别奖;论文曾获中国艺术研究院中青年优秀论文三等奖和优秀科研成果三等奖;书装设计曾获中南书装年会总体装帧设计一等奖。

English Introduction

 Lu Pintian was born on March 19, 1959 in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. His ancestral home is Fengcheng, Jiangxi Province. In 1975, he worked as an art teacher in the Fourth Middle School of Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. From 1982 to 1985, he was a cadre of the General Company of Arts and Crafts, Ministry of Light Industry, engaged in the production and management of National Fine Arts and ceramics. In 1985, he was admitted to the Graduate Department of the Chinese Academy of Art, and was trained by famous aestheticians and arti Mr. Wang Chaowen, a theorist, studied art theory and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in 1988. He remained in the academy to study art theory. From 1990 to 1995, he served as the executive editor, editorial board and deputy editor of the quarterly issue of On the History of Fine Arts. From 1995 to 1996, he served as the presiding officer of the column "Artists" of the monthly magazine "Art Observation". He is currently the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Art and the curator of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Museum.

Fellow of Institute of Fine Arts, China Academy of Art, Editor-in-Chief of Art Observation, Member of National Non-material Cultural Heritage Committee, Member of Theoretical Committee of China Artists Association and Standing Director of China Arts and Crafts Society.

He has been engaged in art theory research and art criticism for a long time, especially in the basic theory research of folk art and arts and crafts. He has successively participated in the compilation of major national scientific research or publishing projects, such as History of Chinese Fine Arts, Encyclopedia of China, History of Chinese Folk Art, Chinese Folk Art and Complete Works of Chinese Folk Art, and has published monographs, Concepts of Chinese Folk Art (Published by Jiangsu Fine Arts Press), Complete Works of Chinese Folk Art, Toy Volume and People of China. The Complete Works of Fine Arts, The Hot Volume of Society (published by Shandong Education Press and Friendship Books), Chinese and Foreign Ceramic Patterns (published by Light Industry Press), Chinese Traditional Crafts (published by Beijing Jinghua Press), Neozoic Art: Roaming Existence (published by Jilin Fine Arts Press), Modern Configuration Art - New Handicraft Art and Contemporary Creation of China (published by Jiangxi Fine Arts Press) "Oriental Art" (published by Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House) and so on. The monograph was awarded the "Five-one Project Selected Works" Award of the Ministry of Publicity in 1993 and the Academic Achievement Special Award of the Chinese Academy of Art; the thesis was awarded the third prize of the Chinese Academy of Art for outstanding young and middle-aged papers and the third prize of excellent scientific research achievements; and the book binding design was awarded the first prize of the overall binding design of the Central-South Book Binding Annual Conference.
