梁江,博士、研究员、博士生导师,广东罗定人。原为中国艺术研究院美术研究所所长,现为中国美术馆副馆长、中国美协理论委员会副主任。梁江,广东罗定人,原毕业于广州美术学院,后在中国艺术研究院完成硕士、博士学业。曾任《东方》副总编辑、《广州文艺》月刊主编、《广东美术家》执行副主编、《美术》编辑部主任。在广州工作期间,曾任艺术主持,策划组织过文化部与广州市政府主办的中国艺术博览会。近十余年来,作为主要执笔者之一参与《中国美术史》、《中华艺术通史》、《黄宾虹全集》、《中国现代美术史》数项国家重点项目的撰写工作。已出版专著《美术的魅力》、《美术学探索》、《美术概论新编》、《广东画坛闻见录》、《中国美术鉴藏史稿》等,编著《非洲艺术》、《我看冰兄》、《学术与人生》及多种书籍画册,历年在各种专业刊物发表学术论文250余万字。

除了史论的著述,梁江关注当下的美术创作和理论状态,经常撰写切入现状的论评。他以思维敏锐,观点明晰,文风恣肆著称。几年前,著名作家伊妮以梁江的学术经历为题写了一份报告文学刊于天津《城市人》杂志。著名美籍华人画家汪澄撰文说梁江“是一个大胆、直率的人。在太多歌功颂德的应酬文章之中,真是凤毛麟角”。
除个人研究和著述,梁江策划、组织过多项全国性的大型学术活动,如“95中国艺术博览会”、“迎新千年美术理论研讨会”、“全国少数民族美术创作理论研讨会”、“新时期中国人物画创作研讨会”、“中国美术馆50年捐赠作品大展”等大型活动。2004年8月策划、主持的“黄宾虹国际学术研讨会暨系列展览”,产生了国际性广泛影响。梁江曾应邀为清华大学授课,任北京大学研究生论文评审专家、中央美术学院博士学位答辩委员等。多次接受中央电视台采访或录制访谈节目,应邀参与北京市、深圳市等重大文化项目论证,经常参与国际国内重要学术会议等。近年,任中国美术家代表团团长,出访瑞士、日本等国家。
梁江同时也是卓有所成的书画家。他早年善画油画,在业内影响较大;后来以山水画、花鸟画和书法见长,作品多次在中国美术馆、炎黄艺术馆、中国国家博物馆、岭南美术馆、中山市美术馆、汕头油画院、珠海古元美术馆及国外展览,为中国美术馆、梅兰芳纪念馆、清华大学、山东大学收、岭南美术馆、中山市美术馆、广东美术馆、珠海古元美术馆等收藏,近年来,在山东、北京、广州等地的多家拍卖行和书画市场受到收藏家追捧,被誉为当代“学者书画”的典范。
Liang Jiang, Ph. D., researcher, Ph. D. supervisor, Luoding, Guangdong Province. He was formerly the director of the Institute of Fine Arts of the Chinese Academy of Art, and is now the deputy curator of the Chinese Art Museum and the deputy director of the theoretical Committee of the Chinese Association of Fine Arts. Liang Jiang, Luoding, Guangdong, was a graduate of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and later completed his master's and doctoral studies in China Academy of Art. He was deputy editor-in-chief of Oriental, editor-in-chief of Guangzhou Literature and Art Monthly, executive deputy editor of Guangdong Artists, and editor-in-chief of Fine Arts. During his work in Guangzhou, he was an art director and planned and organized the China Art Exposition sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Guangzhou Municipal Government. Over the past ten years, as one of the main authors, he has participated in the writing of several national key projects, such as History of Chinese Art, General History of Chinese Art, Complete Works of Huang Binhong and History of Modern Chinese Art. He has published monographs such as Charm of Fine Arts, Exploration of Fine Arts, New Edition of Introduction to Fine Arts, Records of Guangdong Painting Circle, Historical Manuscripts of Chinese Fine Arts Collection, etc. He has compiled African Art, I Watch Ice Brother, Academic and Life, and many books and pictures. Over the years, he has published more than 2.5 million academic papers in various professional journals.
Now he is the deputy curator and doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Art Museum. Vice-director of the theoretical Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the Chinese Painting Society and member of the Chinese Calligrapher Association, researcher of the Chinese Academy of Art and the Chinese National Academy of Painting, visiting professor of Southeast University and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, etc. He was the director of the Institute of Fine Arts of the Chinese Academy of Art and the director of the Department of Fine Arts of the Graduate School. He has been appointed as Editorial Board of many professional magazines such as Fine Arts, Chinese Fine Arts and Art Observation, Judge of National Social Science Foundation Art Project, Senior Title Judge of Ministry of Culture, Ph.D. Respondent Committee of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Central Academy of Fine Arts, and Director of the 2012 London Olympic Fine Arts Conference.
Over the past 30 years, as the principal author, I have participated in many national key projects such as History of Chinese Art, General History of Chinese Art and Complete Works of Huang Binhong. He has published many personal monographs, such as "Historical Manuscripts of Chinese Fine Arts Collection", "Records of Cantonese Painting Circles", "New Edition of Introduction to Fine Arts", "Exploration of Fine Arts", and so on. He has compiled "Brother Bing Watching", "Academic and Life" and a variety of books and picture albums, and published more than 4 million words of academic papers. The Manuscript of History of Chinese Art Collection is the first history of Chinese art collection, which laid the foundation of Chinese art collection history; The Records of Guangdong Painting Circle and New Edition of Introduction to Fine Arts opened up a new situation in the study of regional art history and the construction of art theory.
In addition to historical writings, Liang Jiang pays close attention to the current state of art creation and theory, and often writes commentaries on the current situation. He is well-known for his keen thinking, clear views and unconstrained style of writing. A few years ago, the famous writer Eni wrote a reportage on Liang Jiang's academic experience, which was published in Tianjin City Man magazine. Wang Cheng, a famous Chinese-American painter, wrote that Liang Jiang was "a bold and forthright man". Among so many reward articles that praise merits and virtues, it is rare.
In addition to personal research and writings, Liang Jiang has planned and organized many large-scale national academic activities, such as "95 China Art Exposition", "Meeting the Millennium Art Theory Seminar", "National Minority Art Creation Theory Seminar", "New Period Chinese Figure Painting Creation Seminar" and "50-year Donation Works Exhibition of the Chinese Art Museum". Huang Binhong International Symposium and Exhibition Series, which was planned and hosted in August 2004, has had a wide international impact. Liang Jiang has been invited to teach for Tsinghua University. He has been an expert in evaluating Postgraduate Theses of Peking University and a doctoral dissertation defense member of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He has been interviewed or recorded by CCTV for many times, participated in the demonstration of major cultural projects in Beijing and Shenzhen, and often participated in important international and domestic academic conferences. In recent years, he has been the head of the delegation of Chinese artists and has visited Switzerland, Japan and other countries.
