--------Introduction in English--------
Clarification Tang Tie is a collection of Song Dynasty carvings. Tie stone is lost early, rubbings are seldom circulated, and Jishan Tang collects them.
Mi Fu was an outstanding painter and collector in Song Dynasty, especially in calligraphy. Mi Fu began to learn books when he was seven years old. From Tang Dynasty to Jin Dynasty, he studied all over the world.
In his Self-Narrative Tie, he narrated his career in learning books. He learned Liu's Diamond Sutra, and then Ouyang Xiu, such as printing board calculation, and admired Zhu Suiliang, who had studied him for the longest time. The turning point of Duan Ji (Exhibition) is fat and beautiful. Not only did he gain the merits of many families, but he was also very diligent in learning books. He once said to himself, "If you don't read a book in a day, you will feel astringent and think that the ancients did not waste it for a while." In his "Yuanye Tie", he also said: "Yuanye bright window incense burning, northwest to my friend, its eternal bosom knows. Reading Wenhuang Daling is not as good as other books. Before writing a few books, the faithful are in front of them, and their flames deter them."
According to Song Yueke's Four Ties of Baozhenzhai Calligraphy Zan Mi Yuanzhang Linyoujun, Mi Youren quoted Bayun as saying: "The authentic works of Jin and Tang Dynasty hidden by the first minister Fu are displayed on several occasions every day, and they will be kept in small baskets at night, while sleeping on pillows." On New Year's Day, we keep posting and cherish the true works of our ancestors. It can be seen that Mifu has a strong interest in learning calligraphy and is obsessed with it.
Although Mi Fu lived in the Northern Song Dynasty in pursuit of innovation, he was totally contrary to Su Shi's thought of "innovating in the law, sending wisdom out of boldness" and Huang Tingjian's thought of "making plans for future generations by others". On the contrary, he worshipped the ancients. When evaluating the former generation's calligraphy, he thought that those who had the ancients calligraphy were beautiful, and vice versa were ugly. In Mi Fu's book theory, the viewpoint of "Beitang and Chongjin" is very obvious. Mi Fu's behavior of worshipping Jin in Tang Dynasty explains Mi Fu's artistic thought of "advocating meaning".
