《岁朝图》轴，明，袁尚统绘，纸本，设色，纵107.8cm，横52.2cm。

　　本幅款识：“丙申春日客于竹深处。袁尚统。” 钤“尚统私印”（白文）、“袁氏叔明”（白文）印二方。

　　岁朝，是指一岁之始，此时一元复始，万象更新，历代画家作岁朝图含有元旦开笔、预祝一年万事吉利之意。图绘山村一隅，诸多孩童在院中敲锣、打鼓、放鞭炮，尽情嬉戏玩乐，屋内三位长者同桌对饮，观看儿童嬉耍。树石勾勒填色后皴擦，远山以花青淡淡涂染，笔法稳健苍老，画风质朴古拙。丙申为清顺治十三年（1656年），袁尚统时年87岁

The year-old Dynasty refers to the beginning of the first year of life, when the yuan starts again and everything is renewed. Painters of all dynasties have painted the year-old Dynasty pictures with the intention of starting on New Year's Day and wishing everything good luck for a year. Pictured in a corner of the village, many children are playing gongs, drums and firecrackers in the courtyard, playing happily. Three elders in the house drink at the same table and watch the children play. The trees and stones are painted and rubbed. The distant hills are lightly painted with blue and white. The brushwork is steady and old, and the style of painting is simple and unsophisticated. Bing Shen was 13 years old (1656) in Shunzhi, Qing Dynasty. Yuan Shangtong was 87 years old.
