　　扇页有自题：“去年联袂唱新诗，恰是春光渐丽时。飞絮自萦燕市梦，好风吹动谢庭思。素纨写意凝烟水，芳草连天怅别离。遥想官斋晴昼永，桃花红染几枝枝。小诗寄怀二姊夫人书扇请正。酿花十一弟若霭。”钤“酿花”朱文印。又自题：“乾隆丙辰二月晴岚写。”钤“晴岚”朱文印。

　　“丙辰”是清乾隆元年（1736年），张若霭时年24岁。

　　此图绘折枝花卉。花以线描为主，表现出鲜花绽放时争妍斗艳的蓬勃朝气。叶片以浓淡墨晕染，淋漓的水墨效果，表现出叶片饱含水分的鲜活。不同的笔墨技法丰富了画面，增强了视觉表现力，画作没有因为造型的简约而显得单薄。全幅刻画写实，不仅叶茎勾描细致，而且将花瓣上的丝丝纹络也以工整的笔墨一丝不苟地加以表现，可见作者严谨的求实画风。此图作为作者早期的画作，尚缺少笔致生动的气韵。

This picture shows broken flowers. Flowers are mainly line drawing, which shows the vigor and vitality of the flowers when they are blooming. The leaves are dizzy dyed with thick and light ink. The effect of dripping ink shows that the leaves are fresh and full of water. Different brush and ink techniques enrich the picture and enhance the visual expression. The painting does not appear thin because of the simplicity of the shape. Full portrayal of realism, not only leaves and stems delineate, but also petals on the silk lines are meticulously expressed in neat ink, which shows the author's rigorous realistic style of painting. As the author's early paintings, this picture still lacks the vivid charm of the pen.
