--------Introduction in English--------
"Landscape Map" fan page, Qing, Dong Bangda drawing, paper, ink, 16.2 cm vertical, 47.8 cm horizontal.
Fan Page has its own title: "Minister Dong Bangda paints respectfully." Jun's "minister" Zhu Wenyin and "Bonda" Baiyin.
This picture draws a small landscape with dense and compact composition, reflecting each other in the long and near future. With calm brushwork and rich ink layers, Huang Gongwang's style of painting is warm, moist and elegant. His style is between Loudong School and Yushan School. Dong's paintings were highly praised by Emperor Qianlong. He believed that their artistic level was comparable to that of Dong Yuan, a master of the Five Dynasties, and that they had reached the point where they could not be criticized from brushwork to composition and artistic conception. Therefore, as long as Dong's works are collected in large quantities, regardless of size, there are 202 Dong's paintings (excluding cooperation) which are only recorded in Shiqu Baoding. As Zhao Erxun wrote in the History Manuscripts of the Qing Dynasty: Dong's "long straightforward imperial court, the imperial work, a large search, pamphlet inch Xu, not less than hundreds".
