本幅自题:“昨日山头烂酸归,路旁密筱乱牵衣。何须定要千寻竹,自有清光满翠微。见翁年学长兄正画,板桥郑燮。”钤“郑燮之印”白文印、“二十年前旧板桥”朱文印。鉴藏印有:“福山邓氏”、“黎堂”等。
郑燮最喜画竹,也最擅长表现各种环境下不同形态的竹子。此图描绘了在清风中摇曳的劲竹与石相伴而生的画面。构图简洁,笔法健挺洒脱,于写意之中见写实功底,将竹之高洁素雅、坚韧不屈的物性尽现笔底。

This self-titled picture: "Yesterday, the hill turned sour, the roadside Mixiao chaotic pull-on clothes. Why do you have to search for bamboo in a thousand ways? It's clear and green. See Weng Nianxue's elder brother Zheng Xie in Banqiao. Jun's "Zheng Xie's Seal" in white and "Old Banqiao 20 years ago" in Zhu. There are "Deng Shi of Fushan" and "Li Tang" in the collection.
Zheng Xie likes bamboo painting best, and he is also good at representing different forms of bamboo in various environments. This picture depicts a picture of the accompanying growth of bamboo and stone swaying in the breeze. The composition is concise, the brushwork is vigorous and free and easy.
