《仿王蒙山水图》轴,清康熙四十年(1701年),王原祁绘,纸本,墨笔,纵95.7厘米,横49厘米。
此图描绘虬松密树、溪水蜿蜒,是一幅典型的山水画。作者以淡墨干笔、牛毛细皴绘出山石的主体结构,再以浓墨湿笔加以点染,用笔繁复却不琐碎,层次分明,错落有致,布局紧密,充分显示出其精湛的笔墨技法与构架画面的能力。笔法苍老,既不失王蒙之深秀,又兼具董巨磅礴之气,实为佳作。
本幅自题叙述了他对王蒙所用绘画技法的理解,款署:“康熙辛巳仲冬麓台祁”。钤“王原祁印”白文印、“麓台”朱文印,右上钤“期仙庐”白文印,左下钤“西庐后人”朱文印。“辛巳”为清康熙四十年(1701年),王原祁时年六十岁。
鉴藏印有“远湖所藏”朱文印。

"Imitating Wang Meng Landscape Map" axis, Qing Kangxi 40 years (1701), Wang Yuanqi painting, paper, ink, 95.7 cm in length, 49 cm in transverse.
This picture depicts dense trees and winding streams of Pinus tatarinowii. It is a typical landscape painting. The author draws the main structure of the rocks with light ink dry brush and ox capillary chains, and then dots them with thick ink wet brush. The brush is complex but not trivial, with clear layers, delicate scattering and compact layout, which fully demonstrates its exquisite brush and ink skills and the ability of framing the picture. The old style of writing is not only Wang Meng's deep beauty, but also Dong Ju's magnificent spirit. It is really a masterpiece.
This self-titled picture describes his understanding of Wang Meng's painting techniques. It states: "Kangxi Xinsi Midwinter Foot Taiqi". In Jun, "Wang Yuan Qi Yin" in white and "Lutai" in Zhu, in Jun "Shi Xianlu" in white on the right, and in Jun "Xilu descendants" in Zhu on the left. Xinsi was 40 years old in Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1701), and Wang Yuanqi was 60 years old.
The seal of Zhu Wen is "hidden in the far lake".
