《夏热帖》,五代,杨凝式书,纸本,手卷,纵23.8厘米,横33厘米。草书8行,共32字。
《夏热帖》是杨凝式写的一封信札。内容大致是,因天气炎热,送给僧人消夏饮料“酥密水”表示问候。
释文:
“凝式啓:夏熱體履佳宜,長□酥密水,即欲致法席,苦□□□乳之供,酥似不如也。(以下数字残损难识)病?(下二行残损)。”
首署款:“凝式”。
后纸有宋王钦若,元鲜于枢、赵孟頫,清张照题跋及乾隆皇帝的释文。
卷前后及隔水上钤有宋“賢志堂印”,元赵孟頫,明项元汴,清曹溶、纳兰成德、清内府等鉴藏印。另有数方古印不辨。
此帖是杨凝式唯一的传世草书作品,书法兼取唐颜真卿、柳公权笔法,体势雄奇险崛,运笔爽利挺拔,与他的楷书、行书作品相比较,艺术风格迥殊,表现出了书家的丰富艺术变化,为杨凝式书法代表作品作之一。
此帖曾刻入《三希堂法帖》。

Xia Re Tie, Five Dynasties, Yang Ning style book, paper book, hand roll, 23.8 cm in length, 33 cm in transverse. Cursive script 8 lines, a total of 32 words.
Xia Re Tie is a letter written by Yang Ning. The content is roughly, because of the hot weather, give the monks summer drink "crisp water" to express greetings.
Annotations:
"Condensation Qi: Summer heat is good for body performance, long and compact water, that is, to make the mat, bitter and sour milk supply, crisp seems inferior. (The following figures are incomprehensible.) Disease? (The next two lines are damaged)."
Capital paragraph: "condensation".
Later papers include King Qinruo of Song Dynasty, Yuanxian Yushu, Zhao Mengfu, Zhangzhao Tieba of Qing Dynasty and Emperor Qianlong's explanations.
Before and after the scroll and across the water, there are the Song Dynasty's "Xianzhi Tang Seal". Mengfu, Zhao, Mengfu, Xiang, Yuanbi, Cao Rong, Nalan Chengde and Neifu of the Qing Dynasty. Other ancient seals are indistinguishable.
This post is the only handed down cursive work of Yang Ning's style. Calligraphy combines Tang Yan Zhenqing's and Liu Gongquan's brushwork. It has a strong and dangerous physique. Compared with his regular scripts and running scripts, it has a very different artistic style. It shows the rich artistic changes of the calligrapher and is one of the representative works of Yang Ning's style.
