--------Introduction in English--------
The pages of "Tie for Complaints" are Ming, Nie Danian, paper and running books. They are 22.6 cm in length and 33.8 cm in breadth.
Annotations:
Ask corporal Heng Zhenggong's three poems to be used on the books. I'm glad to see the books one or two days later. Yesterday evening Yao Fu took a drink, but also had his own work, begging for peace. New Year's greeting. Take care of your old friends.
There are six inscriptions: Anshan Taoist, Gu Song, Zhi An Tang Book Seal, Zeng Zang Zhou Zuo Min Office and Zhang Jing Private Seal.
This is a short note written by Nie Danian to "Congli Old Friends". Although only a few words, it reflects Nie Danian's life situation - reading, making friends, singing poems and wine, which shows Nie Danian's life as a scholar is quite idle and well-off. This handwriting is naturally flowing and beautiful. Although it is careless, it has the style of Li Yongkuan and gentleness in the Tang Dynasty. It shows Nie's profound artistic skill of self-cultivation by mastering ancient Chinese calligraphy.
